SPLIT-CANE FLY RODS
HANDMADE BY
DON ANDERSEN
Updated April22/22.
Some 40 years ago I bought a 10'6" graphite rod blank from Fenwick for float tubing
fishing. It cast lousy although I did use it some. Put it away and it got lost. Found it
when cleaning up the shop and took it out for a test cast with 4>6 weight lines.
It was a dog with a 6 wt. but the 4 weight made it sing.
It is used and has some scuff marks here and there.
