Thinning the herd. From time to time it is required that I thin out some of the rods. The storage gets very full. So today I added 2 rods. Both have some experience catching fish and I just plain do not use them anymore so I am offering them for sale.

This a a slimmed down version of my most popular model the 7'9" 5 wt. This rod will carry a 4 wt. line cheerfully but is overlined somewhat with a 5. It would make a fine rod for spring creeks, The Original 7'9" taper i have used and built about 50 rods. One of the rods is showcased in How Tough are Bamboo Rods.

Like the rod above, this rod was very lightly used so I am offering it for sale. It is a very strong 5 or smooth 6 weight depending on your temperment. I'd run it with either and enjoy the change. I built it for  fishing in southern Alberta and it served well there. Unfortunatley, with my bad knees, wade fishing is becoming a non starter.
